Did yours ever work? My other MacBook ran Zoom perfectly fine though. Anyone found a solution yet? Zoom still works on my Imac but that is running Catalina so won't be updating that until this issue on my laptop is sorted.

Erina maybe? I reported the issue as fixed after signing in with my personal email account. Then, I tried to use SSO to sign in on the desktop client and had some errors associated with that, and when I went back to sign in with my gmail address I again could not connect to Zoom to log in.
So I used the uninstaller again and reinstalled the client - and I will no longer attempt using SSO on the desktop app. Maybe SSO is only meant for using in-browser? I don't know. I'm using SSO and am seeing connection issues on the zoom desktop.
A new meeting is attempted and we see the connection attempts going in a loop. This has loop can continue for over an hour.. I just won't use SSO on the desktop application. Thanks for the tag, yes working now for me too. No restart needed. Thank you. OMG I cannot thank you enough. This worked like magic! My husband and I have been struggling with this issue for 3 weeks now and it has been driving us crazy. Thank you, thank you, thank you. When talking with multiple people in a team setting, you want the upload speed around 1Mbps and the download speed around Kbps. You can always check your current speeds with a quick internet speed test. If the speeds are undesirable, repeat Solution 1. Also, you can check out our tips on how to increase internet speed. To access these options, click the cog icon Settings on the main screen of the Zoom desktop app, or click the arrow icon within the video camera icon during a call and then select Video Settings on the pop-up menu.
Sharing your screen is an important part of many Zoom calls. Sharing your screen takes up a lot of bandwidth. Use a wired connection, if available, for the best performance.
